But the part about graphics drivers was a little confusing. GL is the old graphics language of Silicon Graphics. It will no longer be supported by them in the near future. It has evolved into OpenGL, which is now an industry standard, and is the language recommended by the D0 graphics group for future graphics work. Scott mentioned that Python on the SGI had extensions that used the GL language. I assume these will be converted to OpenGL in the future. Scott also mentioned many freeware and commercial toolkits were available that generated GUIs. These have nothing to do with GL or OpenGl. Thanks for getting the minutes out so fast!
