Dorota helped by putting together a version of Perl5/tk on d0sgic. Here's 
how to try one of the demos, which is very close to the tcl/tk widget demo.

1. log into d0sgic
2. set path = ( /exports/data/dorota/perl/perl5.003/bin $path )
3. cd /exports/data1/dorota/perl/Tk-b11.02/demos
4. perl widget

There are a few other demos in that area as well.
