• Current FNAL recommendations ~ 2atm ; prevents line freezing and air flow ( oxygen ) into LH2 .

• Lower pressure (hence thinner windows) may be possible R & D required.

Increased thickness near window edges can further

reduce the minimum window thickness near beam:
