I tried email with no response, and I talked with Maris Abolins about a month ago. Maris said Tom is making very little progress. We used the events you processed for us (thanks...). We made no further corrections to the muons -- I looked to measure various other properties like pt resolution, (eta, phi) inefficiency and angular correlations (tags vs. high pt) but never found anything signficant with the small statistics I had. Since a 5% fractional systematic on roughly 10% of the lumi gives a 0.5% effect, I decided that since the simple things showed no effects, I would use a crude upper bound on the systematic rather than spend lots of time to perfect the error.
