MUO Examine 1. Type setup d0online histo& start_daq muo_examine 2. When the program starts, type init followed by start 3. To stop the program, type stop followed by quit (no Ctrl-C). 4. From the Histoscope "File/Process" menu select "Connect to Process". When the window with available processes appears, select your process and push the "Connect" button. If you cannot go past this step, check the value of the TMPDIR environment variable (type echo $TMPDIR) to make sure that: * The variable is defined, * The directory it points to does exist, * There are no old files in that directory. Another reason for the application to fail to connect to the process is that no muon triggers declared in the RCP file are being fired. 5. After you have connected to the process, select a category and push the "Open" button. 6. Select histograms you want to look at from the list and push one of the view buttons. 7. To save a plot to a file, right click on the histogram window and select "Generate PostScript" from the menu. Save the file to a temporary location and attach it to the electronic logbook (see the logbook instructions page). Please remember to remove the temporary file as soon as you have archived the logbook entry.
