The shifter's version of smt_examine is located 
/online/examines/t02.08.00/smt_examine. The output goes into this 
directory.

start_daq smt_examine

The shifter can type this command being in any dorectory. This commands 
picks all streams. The stream selection is available in expert version 
only. 

>           how does the shifter ensure that they get proper events

SMT group decided to take all streams

>         - end of run instructions

At the end of run the shifter is expected to copy the cluster charge 
plots into the log book and into some predefined directory

>         - interpreting the histograms/results

The interpretation is simple - the shape of Landau peaks

>         - other special instructions regarding your examine
