How to come to Saclay from Paris?

If you stay in downtown Paris, you can enter your starting station and destination (Le Guichet) and figure out the subway (RER) schedule at the following address: SCHEDULE. It is rather convenient to use the RER (line B) to reach Le Guichet station. For example, from Luxembourg station, it takes about 40 minutes. Here are a list of RER morning trains between Luxembourg and Le Guichet: Luxembourg: 8:03, 8:06, 8:15, 8:30, 8:45, 9:30, 9:15, 9:30, 9:45, Orsay-Ville: 8:34, 8:41, 8:49, 9:01, 9:16, 9:31, 9:46, 10:01, 10:16. Please note that, in order to arrive at Le Guichet with a direct RER, you should only take RER B with a final destination to Saint-Remy-les-Chevreuse or Orsay-Ville (not to Robinson or to Massy-Palaiseau). A shuttle service between Le Guichet and the meeting place is foreseen in the morning and in the evening. In addition, there are buses coming to the CEA Ormes les Merisiers from RER Le Guichet every 20 minutes.

How to come to Saclay from the airports?

From Charles de Gaulle airport, there are two RER stations: from Terminal 1 (the round terminal) take the airport shuttle to the RER from Terminal 2, one can either walk or take a short shuttle. The price for a RER ticket from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle to Paris is 8 Euros and from Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle to Le Guichet is 11.10 Euros. A special day ticket called Mobilis 5 zones allowing you to make the trip Charles de Gaulle/Orsay-Ville and then Orsay-Ville/Paris the same day fis available for only 12,10 Euros (Mobilis includes the train, metro and bus but not the Orlyval train to Orly). From Orly airport, take the Orlyval (Automatic rail link connecting to RER line B) to the Antony station and then transfer to the RER B going to Saint-Remy-les-Chevreuse (and not to Robinson) and get off in Le Guichet. The price for the full trip is 9 Euros.
