HOWTO run the Level 2 Trigger Examine with Online data.
Login to d0l2mon:
>ssh -l d0l2 d0l2mon
On d0l2mon:
Open two windows. In the first window:
>setup D0RunII t02.08.00
>cd /home/d0l2/l2_examine
>d0setwa
>cd l2_examine/bin
>./run_l2examine.sh
In the second window:
>setup D0RunII p12.00.00
>setup histo
>histo
After the program has begun running:
In the histoscope display, click on "File/Process", and select
"Connect to Process".
A process called "L2-histos" should be displayed.
Highlight it, by clicking on it.
Then click "Connect".
Highlight
"L2EXAMINE.HBK", then click "Open".
Highlight the histograms you would
like to see displayed, then click on "View", or "View Multiple" (if you
have selected more than one histogram).
Histoscope will display the
selected histograms, and update them as long as the DAQ continues to
take events.
